With extensive expertise in intimate image abuse and online harm affecting adults, Kate is a recognised specialist in her field. Her work is driven by a commitment to ensuring that the needs and voices of all women are understood and heard, especially those who are often marginalized or overlooked by mainstream society. 

Kate has made significant contributions to research on various aspects of adult online harms. She has been involved in studies examining the unique challenges faced by content creators and the specific online harms encountered by rural women in Scotland.
