Safeguarding Consultant Safeguarding Network is recruiting a full time Safeguarding Consultant to provide direct support to early years settings, schools, colleges and other settings. As our membership has grown so has a strong reputation for safeguarding expertise and experience. We promote positive practice around CPD and supervision across the sector and aim to be able to meet the needs of our customers, grow our business and continue to improve the lives of children and young people. Reporting to Supervision Service Manager this role will build relationships with and provide external safeguarding supervision to Designated Safeguarding Leads and other key personnel, deliver training, support the company’s response to advice requests and undertake quality assurance work including safeguarding reviews.  The postholder will also be involved in the development of materials which are sent out to members of Safeguarding Network. The postholder will possess a strong safeguarding track record, a relevant qualification and demonstrate a passion and belief in the rights of children and young people. Safeguarding Consultant (Associate) Due to Safeguarding Network’s continued growth, we are seeking self-employed Associate Consultants with a strong (& recent) education & senior leadership background to join our expanding team! We wish to continue providing the best service & meeting the demand for our members and feel that increasing our associate base is a way of increasing our safeguarding expertise.  We work with schools and other organisations whose leaders also require supervision and support in their strategic senior leadership safeguarding role.  Applications to become Associate Consultants are also invited from leaders with experience in holding a strategic senior post within education, health and social care. Reporting to Supervision Service Manager our highly experienced Associate Consultants will build relationships with and provide external safeguarding supervision to Designated Safeguarding Leads and other key personnel, deliver training and undertake quality assurance work. Safeguarding Consultants will possess a strong safeguarding track record with experience of senior safeguarding roles (e.g. DSL in several different settings, child protection team manager or chair, Trust DSL and similar), a relevant qualification, either experience or a strong working knowledge of education settings and demonstrate a passion and belief in the rights of children and young people.
