Safeguarding Content & Publishing Associate (Self-employed)

Are you:

  • Passionate about Keeping Children Safe in Education?

  • Hugely knowledgeable about safeguarding and interested in law, research and practice?
  • Able to connect ideas and practice in a way that makes things easy for DSLs and staff?

  • Keen to be part of the Safeguarding Network team?

Then you might be interested in working with us as a Safeguarding and Publishing Associate specifically to support our analysis of the changing world of safeguarding and communicating this to schools and colleges through our website, email Bulletin and social media. You’ll develop a good understanding of the support on offer from Safeguarding Network and integrate the support on offer to our membership into your article.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes safeguarding but still has the capacity to think through the implications of the developing safeguarding world and how it will impact on students, on staff and on DSLs. You’ll need to keep abreast of current developments through your own channels and communication with the rest of our safeguarding network team, then promptly create written pieces that highlight the key elements of the changes for DSLs around the country. With lots of support from our directors, marketing team and the rest of our consultant team, we’ll review your thoughts together and share our balanced and collective understanding with DSLs countrywide ensuring they can apply this knowledge with the school team and make a difference to the lives of their students.
